Anxiety can be different for everyone, but it is most typically expressed as a feeling of fear, dread, and uneasiness. It might cause you to sweat, feel restless and tense, and have a rapid heartbeat. It can be a normal reaction to life’s stressors, and it often arises from everyday situations. Anxiety is considered a natural part of life until one’s feelings begin to interfere with one’s ability to function normally.
Depression is a common mental health condition that causes persistent feelings of emptiness, sadness, and gloom that can impair one’s ability to live life to the fullest. Major life events, such as death of a loved one, divorce, unemployment, job change, or relocation, can cause depression. Depression often persists in spite of a change of environment and can cause feelings that are disproportionate to one’s actual circumstances.
Psychological trauma is an emotional response to a horrific event such as a car accident, sexual abuse, loss of a pet and loved one, or natural disaster. Immediately after the occurrence, one may experience shock, disbelief, and denial. While these feelings are considered normal, some people have difficulty moving on with their lives. Long-term reactions to traumatic events may include erratic emotions, problematic relationships, and numerous physical symptoms.
Panic Disorder is an anxiety disorder characterized by unexpected and numerous occurrences of intense fear accompanied by physical symptoms that can include heart palpitations, shortness of breath, chest pain, dizziness, numbness, or abdominal pain. Panic disorders can be debilitating because one can become so afraid of when the next panic attack may occur that they find that they cannot function in their day-to-day life.

Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that’s triggered by a terrifying event—either experiencing it or witnessing it. The main distinction between trauma and PTSD is the duration of time. Trauma refers to an individual’s experience during and immediately after a life-threatening or extremely distressing event.
Trauma that is not processed can progress into PTSD.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy is a scientifically proven, evidence-based treatment that is often used to treat:
PTSD
Anxiety
Depression
Panic Disorder
EMDR serves to reduce emotional and psychological discomfort in response to stress by reprocessing unresolved traumatic memories or other unpleasant life experiences.
It has the potential to provide relief from a wide range of issues and life stressors.

Play therapy is a type of psychotherapy in which children are allowed to express themselves through role-playing, drawing, and other forms of creative expression. Play therapy can help children cope with stress, anxiety, and other challenging emotions, or can help them process difficult experiences. It can also help them develop problem-solving skills and build a stronger sense of self.
